D-HOPE for Community Development in Thailand

Hello our readers! Season's greetings but first....long time no see! We are very sorry not to keep up with our activities recently, but we're back! Our last work of 2017 has been in Thailand for officially starting off our first JICA's technical cooperation project, "Community-based Entrepreneurship Promotion" (D-HOPE Project). It is a 4 year project, which covers at least 45 provinces among 76 provinces! However the Thai government is willing to introduce D-HOPE in the entire country as a country policy together with their OTOP policy, so we'll see how this goes! Featured Video on the Decentralized Hands-on Exhibition Approach

The Provincial level Participatory Evaluation Meeting

The participatory evaluation meeting at provincial level was held on 12th Feb. There were guests such as vice governor and the chief of the Surin provincial community development office for encouraging participants. The evaluation results from all districts were presented and participants were also encouraged to evaluate 2nd year and plan activities for the coming 3rd year round of the project. — 場所: Surin, Thailand // 投稿 by Institute for Community Design.

Roundtable Discussion on Rural Development and Community Capacity: Case of Rural Development in Thailand Disparity between rural and urban communities is widening in developed and developing countries.
